In 1965 Alice Crimmins became the centre of one of America's most sensational murder trials, accused not only killing her children, but of violating society's expectation of motherhood. Alice's story was shaped as much by misogyny and by mystery. But the question remains, did Alice Crimmins kill her children, or was she a victim of the court of public opinion?
