The media's ability to control narratives rather than report actual events has become increasingly problematic, especially in Southern Arizona. Instead of providing balanced coverage, many outlets deliberately slant stories to fit predetermined narratives. This was evident in the recent politicization of weather tragedies in Texas and Curveville, where some media outlets rushed to blame the Trump administration despite evidence showing the National Weather Service was actually overstaffed, not understaffed.

Tucson residents need to recognize the importance of their upcoming city council elections. The current one-party governance model has failed the city on multiple fronts, from education to business growth.
