Welcome to episode 14, season 4 of the Woman Uncaged podcast!

As we record in December, we’re both deep in reflection mode, looking back at the words that have guided us in past seasons and feeling into what might want to shape the year ahead. We share how this practice first came into our lives, how it has evolved, and why we now approach certain words with a bit more side-eye than we used to.

We talk about the difference between choosing an intention versus a goal, how a single word can act as a lens through which life reveals unexpected wisdom, and how sometimes that wisdom arrives with a biting sense of humor.

We explore the emotional, spiritual, and deeply human terrain of naming what we want more of and what we’re ready to release. We also reflect on how this practice helps us notice our own pendulum swings between extremes, how it reveals the quiet places we still seek external validation, and how it invites us to care for ourselves, our bodies, and our lives in more intentional ways.
