In this episode of Workforce Insider by Indeed Flex, Daniel Tiepelman, Vice President of Operations and Asset Management at CORT, discuss how the company transformed its staffing strategy by moving from a fragmented, manual system to a centralized, data-driven Managed Service Provider (MSP) model with Indeed Flex.

Prior to the transition in August 2024, CORT relied on more than 30 staffing agencies, using manual workflows such as phone calls, emails, and spreadsheets. The adoption of an MSP framework enabled CORT to reduce its vendor base to 17 agencies, lower staffing markups by 20%, and achieve a measurable increase in fulfillment—from 71% to over 95%.

This conversation explores the operational pain points that led to the change, the internal alignment required for implementation, and how technology has played a critical role in driving efficiency, visibility, and labor quality. Tiepelman also shares how his team uses real-time workforce data to inform planning decisions and retain high-performing temporary staff.

Tune in to hear the full conversation and learn how CORT redefined its workforce strategy with technology and trusted partnerships.
