He has partnered with Spike Lee on amazing movies like “Chi-Raq” and, this year’s “BlacKkKlansman.” His own films, such as “C.S.A.: The Confederate States of America” and “The Only Good Indian” get rave reviews around the nation. How did a child from Junction City, Kansas end up on the red carpets of Hollywood, not to mention winning the Grand Prix award at the Cannes Film Festival?
