Getting Good at Criticism
Nehemiah endured it all: sarcasm, suspicion, gossip, mockery, threats, anonymous notes, false accusations, you name it. None of it moved him. He was focused on rebuilding the broken-down wall of Jerusalem. God placed a vision in his heart to restore and rebuild the wall. If God has placed a vision in your heart, you can expect negative criticism.
Key Takeaways:
You can respond to negative criticism by developing a great prayer life and when you do so the following happens:
- Your stress and anxiety level will decrease.
- Your passion restored and renewed.
- You will find the strength to put your hands to the work of God, the Vision his placed in your heart.
