On this episode we are joined by L.A. based public speaking coach Sonia M Power. Sonia specializes in helping women overcome their fear of public speaking & craft engaging, inspiring and deep presentations.

Our conversation with Sonia explores the universal fear of public speaking and how, and why, it affects women more than men. Sonia, shares her journey to becoming a public speaking coach and the psychology behind the common fear people face when speaking to a crowd. She stresses the importance of the emotional and spiritual aspects of public speaking, in addition to the technical, in the process of discovering one’s authentic voice. She shares how fear can be a powerful tool and catalyst to finding one’s message and voice, which Sonia defines as “extension of self”. Sonia developed the groundbreaking signature coaching programs “From Fearful to Fierce” and “The Speaking Diva”, in which she uses tools such as breath work, body language, including posture, to help her clients become the best public speakers they can be.
