In Episode 19, we talk about some of the reasons why scientific innovations and research take so long, and the ways that scientists attempt to keep pace with rapidly-evolving data. We reflect on reasons why the public sometimes distrusts the scientific community because of ongoing re-evaluations of our understanding of healthcare phenomena. Holly concludes that existing data support her hypothesis that Bhuchitra is making her crazy.
