Are you honest with others? How about yourself? Do you wonder why you can't change your life or find freedom? Why you can't hear, see, or even sense God?

Maybe it's time for a giant dose of Truth. It took a beer, a lake, and coming to end of himself to finally tell God how he really felt.

Ryan found out that honesty isn’t optional when it comes to change, transformation, freedom, or even speaking with God. He already sees through the masks we wear, the polished answers we give, and the half-truths we tell ourselves. He doesn’t want a performance; He wants the real you.

Authenticity is the foundation of every meaningful connection—divine or human. When we speak from a place of truth, we create space for healing, trust, and transformation. Pretending might protect us in the short term, but it builds walls instead of bridges.

If we can’t be real with God—the One who knows us completely—how can we expect to be real with anyone else? And if we’re not being real with others, are we truly being known at all?

True connection starts where pretense ends.

If you’re struggling like Ryan or I, it’s time to confront those difficult questions about faith and seek a deeper connection with God. The One who has the power to transform you, break your addictions, heal your mind, and guide you toward your true purpose is waiting.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
