S1 : EP 18

Elliot's back from his travels to California, and in this episode, we dive into the world of public transportation. There was a time when taking the bus or train was seen as a sign of poverty, long before anyone cared about the greenhouse effect or pollution. Environmentalists didn’t exist, and public transit was stigmatized as something only lower-class people used, often leading to teasing at school.

Art talks about how he couldn’t use bikes as a mode of transportation in his neighborhood because of the risk of getting mugged. He also shares his experience of riding the bus to school at just 11 years old. Meanwhile, Elliot recounts a terrifying moment when he and Art were almost attacked by a homeless shaman in Chicago.

We also touch on Elliot’s confession that he hated learning to drive with Art due to Art’s nervous energy, and Elliot’s worst method of transportation: flying.

Take a ride with us as we discuss all things transportation and the stories that come with them!
