You started your business for freedom and flexibility. But now? Constant pings, late-night Slack replies, and being the go-to for everything means your business feels more like a job and not a very kind one.

I know this firsthand. In my first few years of running CEO Amplify, I realized I hadn’t taken a full weekend off in six months. If I wasn’t approving a podcast edit, I was reviewing invoices at my kid’s sports game. That wasn’t the dream. That was my breaking point. I remember standing on the sidelines, phone in hand, pretending to watch while editing a payment link for a client. Totally missing the game. That night, I cried in the car. Not because business was bad, but because I had become the bottleneck in a machine I built. That’s when I decided: this business couldn’t revolve around me anymore.

If you can't unplug without everything stalling, your business depends on you, which makes you the bottleneck. That setup leads straight to burnout.

A real business runs on systems, clear roles, and metrics. Jobs run on one person’s time and energy.

In this episode, I’ll help you spot the gaps and install simple systems and delegation tools so you can step away without everything breaking. Expect more time, fewer fires, and a business that serves you.
