As of 2020, approximately 62 million people identifying as Hispanic/Latino live in the U.S. Heading into the midterm elections, some 35 million are eligible to vote. We connected with Catheryn Chacón and Tannya G. Romero, co-founders of the community group Latinas413 - an organization dedicated to igniting the collective power of the Latinx community in Berkshire County, MA - to talk about how members of the community who are not able to vote yet, either because they are not too young or are still on their path to naturalization, are engaging civically and politically.
