What is your "why" for starting a child care business? For the Naranjo family, everything changed when Paula and their son were in a life-altering accident on the way to another child care center. That moment made them re-examine their lives and sparked a deep desire to create something meaningful in their own community.
Together, Paula and Chris built a high-quality child care center in New Braunfels, Texas—the first child care franchise in the area. Their center goes beyond traditional care, offering therapy intervention sessions, including speech and social skills play, to support children’s development. They also provide secure camera access, giving parents peace of mind and transparency throughout the day. With a focus on creating a positive and nurturing environment, they are committed to helping children and families thrive.
Paula, a former Air Force jet engine mechanic and insurance adjuster, and Chris, a former Air Force ground radar systems technician who later worked in surgical robotic systems, bring unique problem-solving and leadership skills to their business. Their structured approach and attention to detail have helped them build a center that prioritizes both care and education.
Brian and Carol instantly connected with the Naranjos, as they also share a military background. That foundation of discipline, service, and resilience has shaped both families' journeys in entrepreneurship.
