Dr. Sherylle J. Tan is a developmental psychologist, leadership educator, and coach with over 20 years of experience in higher education, research, and nonprofit consulting. She serves as Director of Internships and Research at the Kravis Leadership Institute at Claremont McKenna College, where her work focuses on leadership education, women's leadership, and work-family issues. In this episode of Educate Everyone, Dr. Tan and Dr. Joseph Atman talk about what it takes to be a leader and what special challenges and barriers female leaders face. They also talk about Dr. Tan's other work, including co-editing several books, including Women and Leadership: Journey Toward Equity, which received the 2022 TAA Most Promising Textbook Award.
