In the second part of our conversation with Dr. Marine Avagyan, she reveals the importance of learning how to have the "hard conversations" and how to early on set up a system where those conversations can take place without taking on an adversarial tone. She and Dr. Atman look at ways a new leader can and should have the confidence to be ready to make the difficult decisions on their own and implement them in such a way that they actually strengthen the overall team as opposed to dividing it and creating a fragmented workplace.
