When there’s a crisis, some people flee or freeze, but many of us go straight to fight or “fix it” mode. We need doers and helpers, but if we don’t keep our overfunctioning tendencies in check, we’ll burnout and not be able to help anyone, let alone ourselves.

On today’s Hustle & Flow podcast episode, I’m addressing how to stay informed and make a difference without letting the current political crisis take us out.

Chapters

00:29 - Intro & submit your questions!

02:58 - Triggers and trauma

05:33 - Protecting your health

10:20 - Fight versus flight and freeze

12:48 - Headlines, algorithms, and monetization

20:48 - Fact checking and not spreading misinformation

23:24 - Effective strategies to make a difference

31:13 - Aligning money and action with values
