We’re kicking off our 12 Charities of Christmas series with an organisation that brings confidence, connection and community to young people through the power of the ocean.

In Day One, we sit down with The Wave Project, a charity that uses surf therapy to support children and teenagers experiencing mental health challenges, social isolation and low self esteem. Their work is changing lives across the UK – creating safe spaces, building resilience and helping young people rediscover joy.

In this episode, we explore how surf therapy works, why it’s so impactful and the incredible volunteers who make it all possible. We also talk about the importance of accessible outdoor activities and how The Wave Project is breaking barriers so every young person can take part.

A heart warming start to our festive countdown. Tune in and discover why The Wave Project’s mission deserves a place under your Christmas tree this year.
