Andrew Tate, (Martial Arts) Junior Instructor / Ethical Hacker, Strong Crypto Innovations
In my professional life, I graduated from Sinclair with an associate degree in system administration and continued to expand my academic knowledge through certifications and experience from various jobs. I have worked at Wright Patterson Airforce Base's hospital, Air Force Laboratory, and the IRS. I have also been involved in electronic health record / 365 Cloud migration operations, cyber security, and system administration. Through a friend, I discovered my real passion for ethical hacking and became an ethical hacker.
In my athletic life, I had always been drawn to stories of heroism in video games while growing up. I also had interest in eastern culture, being drawn to different tv shows and games as a kid. In high school, I took interest in training because two of my friends were training Tang So Do, a Korean-based art that is similar to Taekwondo. After five years of consistent training, I ventured to different areas, seeking something more complete training, with a focus on full contact competition. During this time of transition, I tried different schools who did not fulfill my needs and desires in terms of structure and culture.
Finally, I found my way to Meng's Martial Arts, where I have been training full contact martial arts for 7 years. Since then, I have achieved 9 full contact Sanda national titles in both Wushu and Kuo Shu federations. In addition, I have a world title in the Kuo Shu federation and both a bronze and silver medal in Pan American Wushu Championships.
I also have national titles for Wing Chun Chi Sau and forms, and I have competed in several Tang So Do tournaments. I have competed in several karate, Brazilian Jiu Jtsu, and have also competed in MMA.
I hold a purple belt in Judo, purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, black belt in Shaolin Wing Chun, and a brown belt in Tang So Do.
