Follow Val on a journey from her youth of being shy and bullied, having no interest in basketball, to playing in the WNBA and now being a girls empowerment and leadership coach. Val shares stories of her father's lessons in teaching her how to succeed through failure. Val would eventually have 4 PAC 10 championships, 2 National Titles, go to Stanford and play in the WNBA through what she calls Divine Appointments. Val also shares another story of dealing with low self-esteem and bipolar depression and her experiences moving forward and learning how to take care of herself, knowing she is a Child of God and uniquely made.
