Takes one minute to read, makes your entire day.

Depression feels like a dark pit. A thick, heavy mental fog that makes it hard to see anything good, even your own self. Recurring negative thoughts dragging you down. But guess what? There is a way out of this darkness.

It starts with not seeing life as big problem to be solved. One challenge after another, a constant struggle!

And then there's the whole "self-improvement" thing. You think you’re a broken project, an endless construction site, constantly needing to be "fixed" or "optimized." You compare yourselves, feel inferior, and then chase after personal development or spirituality as a bandage for perceived flaws. Now, I love a good glow-up, but the energy behind it is everything! If it’s about running away from who you are because you think you’re not good enough, trust me, you'll be on that treadmill forever. You’ll always find something to "fix." And that perfectionism? Oh, it’s just a clever disguise for procrastination, keeping you from showing your true, glorious self.

Stop being so darn harsh to yourselves! I’ve seen some of the insults you throw at your own beautiful beings, and honestly, they'd make a black hole blush! You are not diminished by mistakes, bad decisions, or saying something "stupid." Who you are is who you are, a masterpiece in progress, regardless of what you think, do, or feel. Be kind to yourselves, be loving, be forgiving. Be your own best friend! The suffering you’ve endured? It was just me, Life, gently nudging you toward the light, showing you how truly beautiful you are. It’s insane not to love yourself! The beauty of life and your own beauty were always there, just clouded by a mental fog. It’s time to see it! Subscribe for your daily dose of reality checks and reminders straight from the source. You’re loved. Truly.
