Today, we begin season 6 of the podcast! This season our theme is, Tell Your Story, and what better way to begin, than to talk to a storyteller. Our podcast guest today is, T.I. Lowe, storyteller and author.

Personally, I’m a fan of her books, so it was a joy to get to sit down and talk to her about writing, life, motherhood, and faith. Although her pen name is T.I. Lowe, to her friends, her name is Tonya. She has written over twenty novels, but her latest are Under the Magnolias and Indigo Isle.

In this episode, Tonya and I talk about her writing journey, how curiosity inspires her stories, how faith is a part of her life and writing, and how living in the South is a huge part of her storytelling. We also talk about elements of mental health that show up in her books, as well as random horticulture facts. (I can’t help it. I love plants!)

I absolutely loved my conversation with T.I. Lowe, and I think you will too. If you’d like to learn more about her, or sign up for her newsletter, I hope you’ll check out her website: tilowe.com. You can find her books anywhere books are sold!

May you be encouraged on your journey with Jesus.
