In this episode Jhaynane Sung joins Tisha . Jhaynane is a holisitc healer with a masters in nutrition certified Reiki practioner and breathwork instructor that helps women heal from past traumas and reconnect with their authentic selves.

Jhayane talks about how mother wounds around food can run very deep. They can also be generational carrying on trauma from generation to generation.

They discuss how easy it is to resent the parent that caused the trauma. It can’t be changed but the best thing for us to do is address it and try to heal from it.

Quotables

"Sometimes when we have mother wounds we want to confront parents and ask why and often times they don’t know what you are talking about. The one thing you must let go of is expectations."

"I’m over here torturing myself in my mind because I don’t think I’m good enough, but I’m actually doing what I’m supposed to be doing."

"Get out of your own way, don’t worry about what other people think about you."

"The people that are judging you aren’t doing anything anyway. Think twice before you let someone dictate your future or your journey."
