In this slow flow yoga class, we explore the connection between physical flexibility and nervous system adaptability—a key to staying steady in times of change. You’ll move through standing postures that mirror the grounding qualities of lying-down poses, bringing a sense of ease and release into your flexibility practice. This dynamic yet soft sequence includes hip openers, shoulder releases, and flowing movements that encourage a free and easy flow in both body and mind. By embracing flexibility on the mat, we practice meeting life with openness and resilience. We are also in wood element season, the time of spring renewal and growth. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, the liver meridian governs flexibility—not just in our muscles, but in our ability to adapt and flow with life’s transitions. If you want to dive deeper into seasonal wisdom and meridian-based yoga, check out my book on 5 Element Yin Yoga! 📖 💚 📖 Explore the Wood Element & Liver Meridian in the green section of My Book ➡️ https://melissawest.com/book/ 💡 Track Your Nervous System & Recovery with Ultrahuman Ring Flexibility isn’t just about movement—it’s about understanding how your body responds to stress and recovery. I’ve been using the Ultrahuman Ring to track my HRV (Heart Rate Variability), sleep quality, and overall nervous system balance, and it has been a game-changer in my practice!
