My Dear Listeners,

As I step into the second season of The Hello Frequency, I find myself looking back with immense gratitude and a sense of quiet admiration at the journey this podcast has taken over the past year. What started as a personal exploration of empathy—across both human and non-human experiences—has evolved into a much larger, collaborative project. It has grown in ways I never expected.

In the first season, I published 31 episodes, including the trailer. Some were solo reflections—quiet spaces where I spoke from the heart about ideas and questions that had long occupied my thoughts. Others were conversations with guests whose presence and perspectives brought richness, warmth, and much-needed disruption to the ways we often think about connection, community, care, justice, love, and transformation.

One of the most exciting aspects of The Hello Frequency’s first season was the incredible presence of queer guests who brought their lived experiences, critical reflections, and fierce compassion into our conversations. Many of these episodes didn’t just explore empathy—they queered it. Together, we challenged normative understandings of care, identity, and connection, opening up space for more expansive, radical, and inclusive forms of empathy to evolve. These conversations reminded me how queerness isn't just about identity—it's also about perspectives, possibilities, reimagining how we relate to one another, and how we build communities of care and love.

My guests also came from a beautiful diversity of faiths, identities, and ways of belonging—and I’m deeply grateful for their openness, wisdom, and trust. They are friends whose connections stretch across continents and through time—a testament to the enduring power of shared values and empathy. The friendships we’ve built and the stories they’ve shared continue to enrich my life in general and this space in profound ways.

I remain committed to welcoming such a rich range of voices in future episodes, and I’m truly honoured to hold space for these conversations. What I’ve learned through this process is that empathy isn’t a static ideal—it’s a dynamic, messy, and often uncomfortable practice that invites us to listen more deeply, to question more curiously, and to act more compassionately.

Season 2 of The Hello Frequency will carry forward these lessons but also stretch further. I hope to offer more community-enhancing content, and deepen our conversations about justice, healing, and transforming through storytelling across borders. To those who have listened, shared, and reached out—thank you. Your presence has made this journey possible. Here’s to another year of feeling, questioning, connecting, and transforming together.

I’m absolutely thrilled to share that some of my listeners reached out expressing interest in being guests on The Hello Frequency. What an honour! You'll be hearing from them in this season, and I’m so excited to continue this journey with new voices and insightful conversations.

If you haven’t already, I’d be truly grateful if you could subscribe to the podcast on Spotify or wherever you tune in. Your support helps keep this space vibrant and growing. And please—don’t hesitate to reach out if you'd like to be part of this community. Whether as a listener or future guest, I’d absolutely love to hear from you.

With love and frequency,
