This week, I’m joined by Rick Knights - recruitment business owner, husband, and dad of three (including twins).

A few months ago, Rick wasn’t in crisis - but something wasn’t right. On paper, life looked great. But he wasn’t showing up how he wanted to.

He wasn’t present. He had f*ck all energy. He wasn’t fat, but he wasn’t healthy.

A simple quote from Rick summed it up:

“I’m not depressed, but…”

And like a lot of the guys I work with, he wasn’t sure what needed to change… just that something did.

“I know what I need to do, but I’m just not doing it”

In this episode, we talk about how building small, consistent habits helped Rick reclaim control - first at home, as a dad and husband and then in business.

We cover:

  • How to build structure when life feels chaotic
  • The real reason you don’t “have time”
  • Why habits - not hacks - create lasting change
  • How self-care helps you show up for others
  • And why being present beats being perfect

Whether you’re running on empty or know you’ve got more to give - this is proof that small steps lead to big changes.

If you’re ready to put your hand up for help - like Rick did - hit the link in my profile and let’s chat.
