Steve Wilson had the medals on the wall - marathons, triathlons, fitness dialled in.

But somewhere along the way, life shifted.

Work got busier. Responsibilities piled up. And slowly, the habits that had kept him grounded slipped.

He still looked the part to most people. But inside, he felt like he was running with a parachute on his back - dragging, stuck, and frustrated that he wasn’t living up to his own standards.

In this episode, we talk about how Steve stopped trying to chase past versions of himself - and started building a simpler, more sustainable way to live, lead, and feel in control.

We cover:

  • Why being “fit before” doesn’t make it easier now
  • The mental weight of knowing you’re underperforming
  • How ego keeps high-achievers stuck in all-or-nothing cycles
  • What it looks like to lower the bar, stay consistent, and still win
  • The shift from proving something - to living like you’ve got nothing to prove

If you’ve ever felt like you’re dragging yourself through the week - but can’t work out why - this one’s for you.
