Ever feel stuck in your head—spinning with thoughts, unsure what to do next? I’ve been there. And one of the most powerful tools I’ve found is something simple: just hit record. Pull out your phone, flip the camera on yourself, and talk it out. You’re not performing, you’re processing. You’re giving shape to the clutter in your mind, and in doing so, you almost always uncover clarity. I do this with journaling a lot, but I’m starting to record these moments too—because sometimes just saying it out loud to yourself is enough to spark the breakthrough.

What’s amazing is that these little self-coaching moments often lead to deeper insights than we’d expect. And even if you don’t find the full answer right away, you’ve got something real you can revisit, reflect on, or even share with a coach (hey—that’s what I’m here for!). The key is to stop staying stuck in silence. Capture your thoughts, watch them back, and use that moment as a launchpad. It's a small habit that builds self-awareness, personal growth, and real momentum.

Takeaways:

- When you feel stuck, record yourself talking through it

- Speaking your thoughts out loud helps organize and clarify them

- Most of the time, we already know the answer—we just haven’t admitted it

- Video journaling can provide future insight and personal growth

- Sharing recordings with a coach or using AI can enhance clarity

- Taking command starts by being honest with yourself
