From Mr Beast to women’s sport, TikTok and the North, this week’s podcast features Colin McKevitt, the founder and MD of Badger & Combes.

The award-winning digital media production company broadcast to millions during the pandemic and works with major organisations across music, sports and beyond.

Colin also talks about training the next generation and why it’s crucial to be based in the North.

We start by talking about Colin's unique journey into the media, via DJ-ing and a "mid-life crisis" which took him back to university and move on to how the team are promoting immersive content, particularly in sport.

By "immersive" we're not talking goggles, instead it's how audiences can engage - even getting armchair fans chatting live to players on the pitch.

Many will have watched Badger content, either the live sport streams, or the United We Stream shows, which reached millions of viewers during lockdown in the Covid pandemic, as artists, chefs and more were live streamed from the North West across the globe.

It's a fascinating insight into where Colin's come from and where they hope to be next.
