What is the real impact of a educational leader on a school? Trauma informed practices offer principals a framework to think about about both the needs of the student, as well as those of the teachers and broader community. When implemented with diligence, courage and collaboration, a trauma informed approach to leadership can transform schools to being inclusive and compassionate communities of practice.
