A huge episode this week as we recap WA’s biggest event in the running calendar, the HBF Run for a Reason, with big numbers, nearly $2million going to local charities, and an abundance of weapon-like behaviour crossing the infamous blue carpet finish line.

No better way to recap the weekend’s event than the reigning Sand Queen, the future substitute WARP guest host when Chris goes to Europe, but more importantly HBF’s Head of Brand and Growth Vici Richardson as we recap, the performances, the inspirational stories and plans for the 2026 edition and beyond.

Results:

  • Leah Allen and Matt Shervington take out the 3.36km
  • The Ramsdens, Lauren Ramsden and Matt Rambo Ramsden take out the 12km, and
  • Lauren French and Luke Burrows take out the half marathon.

Nick Thompson’s light coloured shorts, Matt Neve’s 40km warm up to the WARP Community Run, Firefighter guy and Mama Tina raising $80k for MNDWA feature in this week’s weapons of WARP.

Register for the next Wolves Run Club x Sydney Marathon Long Run - Sunday 8th June 2025. Meet at 6:15am for a 6:30am start at City Beach:
