Joe Briggs, Esq. (@joebriggsesq) is a Public Policy Counsel for the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) and the first individual to lead the NFLPA Government Relations Department. Mr. Briggs is also a professor at Georgetown University and often speaks on subjects ranging from politics to sports and everything in between. He is currently a member of the Alpha Omega chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated. Born and raised in Dundee, Florida, Joe Briggs was a scholarship athlete at Texas Christian University earning three varsity letters as a committed student leader on campus. He signed to the NFL but experienced a career-ending car crash that moved his life in a different direction. This conversation revolves around resilience, goal setting, and getting it out the mud.
