EPISODE SUMMARY

What if everything you thought you knew about learning was holding you back?

In this episode, I sit down with Dr. David Preston — educator, author, and founder of Open-Source Learning — to uncover how traditional education systems may actually damage our ability to learn.

Dr. Preston shares his revolutionary approach to healing cognitive and emotional “injuries” caused by school, and how we can rebuild our learning fitness to thrive in every area of life. Whether you're a parent, teacher, lifelong learner, or just school-scarred and curious, this conversation will change how you think about learning.

In this episode, we talk about:

- Why traditional schooling may be harming more than helping — and what we can do about it

- Inside the Open-Source Learning movement: empowering students to take ownership of their education

- From classrooms to Ironmans: how Dr. Preston applies his learning philosophy in every area of life
