The Kings of Disco, formerly known as members of the Village People, are a musical group formed by some of the original members of the iconic disco band. The group is best known for keeping the spirit of disco alive through high-energy performances and nostalgic hits from the golden era of the late 1970s.

The original Village People skyrocketed to fame with their flamboyant costumes, catchy tunes, and choreographed dance moves. Their biggest and most enduring hit is "Y.M.C.A.", released in 1978, which became a global phenomenon and remains a staple at parties, weddings, and sporting events to this day. The song celebrates community, inclusion, and fun—values that the Kings of Disco continue to represent in their performances.
After changes in the original lineup and legal disputes over the name "Village People," some former members formed The Kings of Disco to continue performing the beloved disco anthems, including "Macho Man," "In the Navy," and of course, "Y.M.C.A." They tour internationally, delivering the same flamboyant flair, nostalgia, and feel-good energy that made the Village People a cultural touchstone.
