In the video, I give you at least 3 ways to combat pre-race nerves, anxiety, or fear.
On the start line, you can cut the tension with a knife. People are frightened, so be nervous to a certain extent is natural and actually beneficial to your game; it's excitement and nerves that mean you want to do well. But if you get scared to a point that alters your performance or even makes you not want to race, it doesn't need to be like that.
Running is fun, and racing should always be fun - there are ways to make it that way.
I describe simple ways you can think in a different way in order to stop performance hindering that affects so many runners and sportspeople.
Rest assured, whatever panic or fear you're feeling, it can be solved with one of these strategies.
Please let me know in the comments if you suffer from any sort of pre-race nerves and how that feels for you. I will always try to help you if I can.
