We start with parenting, but this ISN'T an episode just for parents.

Today we cover A LOT of ground in a short time. It all starts from Aliza's vulnerable share about struggles with parenting - from trying to parent the way she wanted to be parented to the difficulties when your ideals and expectations aren't working out like you hoped.

This takes us on a journey that includes something for everyone. We talk about

  • leadership
  • balancing the coldness of rules/expectations with warmth
  • the importance of mutual trust
  • needs vs. wants
  • emotional regulation through all of the ways midlife becomes monotonous
  • finding vibrance and enthusiasm through monotony, change, and responsibility
  • the U-curve of happiness
  • ADHD, perimenopause, and hormone changes
  • adrenal health and impacts on attention
  • the grief of the closed doors to who you once thought you could be

Yeah... it was a journey.
