Today is World Bipolar Day and Vincent Van Gogh's birthday (who had untreated bipolar disorder in the late 1880s). On this episode of MindBody Matters, Greg Rennie interviews author, motivational speaker and bipolar disorder advocate, Sandra Steiner who lives with bipolar disorder. Sandra and Greg discuss the importance of World Bipolar Day and its focus on improving awareness of bipolar and to reduce stigma and discrimination, talk about her book "A Sparking Tornado: A Memoir of Living With and Thriving -ish Bipolar Disorder" and her success story that despite having the illness she is a successful author, fitness professional, motivational speaker, mother and advocate.
