827 | Rewiring Your Patterns for Ease
Manage episode 470573771 series 3105660
In this episode, I share the concept of "anchors," a powerful technique from Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). Have you ever tried to push through resistance only to feel disconnected and unnatural? This struggle often stems from limiting beliefs and ingrained strategies that dictate our actions. Just like baking a cake requires a specific order of operations, so does our approach to personal growth.
Anchoring allows us to evoke and harness positive emotions—such as confidence, gratitude, and joy—by consciously recalling specific experiences. However, we often anchor negative emotions without realizing it, creating patterns that can hinder our progress. For instance, a simple phone call about finances can trigger a visceral response, anchoring feelings of stress and overwhelm. In the episode, I share this client's transformation using Chaining Anchors. Not only did she feel lighter and more confident, but she also began to show up differently in her business, embracing opportunities she previously shied away from.
