839 | Why Great Coaches Go Deeper
Manage episode 475592697 series 3105660
In today’s episode, I reflect on recent experiences with clients who have faced toxic coaching situations in the past, emphasizing that coaching should not simply provide answers or only focus on the client’s goals, instead can they help clients uncover the underlying barriers that prevent them from reaching their goals. I share my belief that strategy constitutes only 5% of the equation, while subconscious work—addressing limiting beliefs and emotional blocks—makes up the remaining 95%.
Throughout the episode, I stress the significance of getting to the root of why individuals feel stuck or engage in self-sabotage. So many clients are unaware of the deeper reasons behind their behaviors, which are often buried in their subconscious. By employing techniques such as FLIP The Script Techniques and asking subconscious questions, we can uncover these hidden beliefs and reframe them to create lasting change.
